BADGER

DESCRIPTION
We welcome all FMCA members. The Badger Chapter has been rallying for 58 years since 1966. We have 130 active members from Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Indiana, Nebraska, Kansas, Alabama, South Dakota, and some full-timers. Dues for the first two years are $25. This includes a $10.00 charge for a Badger Chapter membership plaque. In the following calendar years, the membership dues are $15.00/year, payable in January of each year. Name badges can be purchased and clothing can be embroidered with the Badger Chapter logo. We generally have 3 to 4 rallies a year in the Midwest with 35 to 50 member RV units attending. Rally fees are $180-$200 for either a mid-week rally or weekend (3-4 day) rally. Fees include some group meal(s) and we try to do group activities and tours of the area as well as free time to explore on your own. Tours could incur an additional fee. We have a catered dinner with entertainment and one or two breakfasts included with rally fee. We also have a potluck or other type of gathering to promote fellowship and to play games or chat. We send out 2 newsletters per year via email or regular mail and post on our member Facebook page as well as posting on the Badger web site.

CANADIAN NORTHERN LIGHTS

DESCRIPTION
Our Chapter exists to promote social, recreational, and informational exchange activities which provide for the enjoyment and pleasurable use of family member recreational vehicles (RVs). We like to get together in small towns, visit their local restaurants, tour their facilities to gather information, and even love to visit their yard sales and flea markets. We have members from all of Manitoba, Saskatchewan as well as some from our sister group in the US called "The Ramblin Nodaks." Our dues are minimal per year, but you must be a member in good standing with FMCA to join. We try to get together several times each summer. Most are "hosted" with organized tours, entertainment, games, etc. Some are "not hosted," just a casual weekend with a great group of friends. Either way, you are welcome to try us out, participate in what you choose or do your own thing. No worries, no stress, just a casual get together,

FRUSTRATED MAESTROS MIDWEST NOTEABLES

DESCRIPTION
We're a relatively small chapter, 31 coaches presently. Our main purpose in this chapter is to enjoy ourselves at rallies by getting together as a large group playing instruments and singing for our enjoyment as well as the enjoyment of the other rally attendees. We also form smaller ensembles to play bluegrass, country, jazz, sometimes brass bands, all dependent on who is available to play or sing. There have also been times that we've had a barbershop quartet for the ice cream time. Presently we don't rally separate from the area and international rallies. We really enjoy having newcomers to the group and welcome new additions. If you can sing (or not), play an instrument (even if it's been gathering dust for 20 years or more), come visit us at the rallies, we're easy to spot, wearing red and white for official functions, and usually making a lot of what sometimes is euphemistically called music. You don't have to be professional grade to join in, we welcome all, you can join us as well as other chapters. You don't really even have to be musical, we do welcome groupies to help us set up for our performances. Dues are $10/year from January to January, and that's $10 a coach, not per person.

HEARTLAND TRAVELERS

DESCRIPTION
Motorhomes and towables are welcome to be Heartland Travelers. The Heartland Travelers Chapter of FMCA covers Nebraska, Western Iowa, and South Dakota. Our interests include getting together for fun, friendship and food! The Heartland Travelers hold seven rallies from April to October each year. Rally sites are voted on by the membership and are in Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota and surrounding states. The rally sites are based upon the member interests. We visit sites to experience what each area has to offer in the way of places of interest. This can involve historical locations, entertainment features or just time to have fun with friends. The rallies are usually held beginning on the third Thursday of the month and run Thursday to Sunday. Each rally has a group dinner at a local restaurant along with a group potluck dinner (days for the dinners decided at the specific rally). There is a Happy Hour gathering each day where we come together for sharing snacks and swapping stories. Unless there is a special event, the rally fees are just the campsite cost for each attendee. Chapter dues are $20.00 per year. Members are kept abreast of chapter events by email messages and letters from the Chapter President. Our chapter maintains a website and RVillage Group for the rally locations and other chapter events. Members can also post blogs and pictures during their travels. The Heartland Travelers was established in 1989.

ILLINI

DESCRIPTION
Currently many of our members are retired (but we have some younger, still working members), several are actually Full-Timers but membership is not limited by age, gender, race, religion, or type of RV. Our Chapter meets most months April through October. Also, for the most part it meets during the third week of the month during the week, but other weeks or weekends are an option for the host. April, June and October are the exceptions. Location of the rallies is chosen by the host and vary each month/year, e.g. most any place in Illinois north of Springfield or Northern Indiana but Eastern Iowa and lower Wisconsin have occasionally been the choice. Rally activities are determined by the host for the month, usually include going out to eat one night (optional), potluck another night and some sort of breakfast gathering. Maybe we should be considered a camping/eating chapter! Cards are often an evening activity while some play other games. Sometimes there are crafts and other planned activities during the day, but again that is up to the host. The officers are trying to encourage multiple day activities and that is getting better. Fresh ideas are accepted and encouraged.

We welcome all FMCA members. The Midwest Trailroaders Chapter will celebrate their 45th Anniversary as a Chapter of FMCA this year, 2020. The Chapter's area is currently the state of Iowa, but welcomes members and guests from other areas. We will hold five camping weekends this year from May through September, usually Thursday through Sunday. In order to accommodate members throughout the state, we try to hold our rallies in various parts of Iowa, however, we have ventured into southeast Nebraska. We ask our members to host/co-host a rally by choosing a campground, members pay their own camping fees and other expenses such as dining out or fees for tours. Our yearly membership fee is $10.00 per family. Happy hour is held daily for those who wish to participate, and a potluck will be held one of the evenings. We welcome you to join us for fellowship, food and fun!

OVER THE HILLS

DESCRIPTION
Our chapter currently has members residing in the states of Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Our membership includes towables. Our dues are $15 per year. We are currently running a membership special for new members. Two years for the price of one! There is a $10/person fee for club name badges. Weekend rallies are held May through October (in the Midwest area) and we try to meet at locations that offer a variety of activities. Typically, a rally starts on Thursday afternoon/evening and ends on Sunday morning. There are no registration fees and members pay their own camping fees. Members can participate in a variety of planned activities, or just relax at the site. We usually have 10 -15 coaches attending the monthly rallies. Each day typically ends with either a potluck dinner, dinner at a local restaurant, or dinner provided by the rally hosts. Many members also attend the FMCA Great Lakes Area Rally, the FMCA Midwest Area Rally, and the FMCA International Conventions. If several coaches are attending the FMCA rallies, we try to caravan so that we are located together at the sites. Our chapter president and secretary email members on a regular basis to keep them abreast of important matters. We are a very friendly, active group of employed and retired people and welcome all FMCA members to join our chapter!
